Seelinger Family Foundation

The Seelinger Family Foundation is based in Summersville, West Virginia. They are an independent non-profit charitable organization. In 2003, they gave 12 grants, with a total amount of $115,000 and the average being $9,583 per grant. The following is a list of all of those recipients.

Ban Las Leigheas Foundation

Ban Las Leigheas Foundation, or The White Light Foundation, is a private international foundation centered on holistic healing. The foundation is designed to support healing centers by virtue of grants.

There are currently four centers in the planning stages and each one will be similar in practice and situated in different locations, globally. The scope of the centers is to educate doctors and their patients. The process will be defined and then replicated in other countries operating clinics for the benefits of their citizens.



Their goal is to return to the basics through proper food, water, minerals, and spiritual needs. They will move healing from a practice to a perfecting.

John Stoneman Foundation for Ocean Research

John Stoneman  was an underwater cinematographer, who starred in a Canadian documentary, called "The Last Frontier" that covered the intentional sinking of the ship, Mercedes, to create an artificial reef.

A cinematographer is  someone who photographs with motion picture cameras. It's usually equivalent to the director of photography, which is used to designate a chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a film or TV show.



John Stoneman also headed the "Foundation for Ocean Research." This was an organization that worked in the area of marine science and research. In 1979, they instituted an annual international award that recognized an individual or organization making a substantial contribution towards the better understanding and appreciate of the marine environment.

Over the next 25 years, the award was given to a wide range of people including scientists, artists, media, conservationists, filmmakers, and photographs. This award was actually was disbanded in 2004.
